Bystander Training
Bystander Training gives people the practical skills and confidence to recognise harmful behaviour, challenge attitudes that enable violence and safely step in when something does not feel right.
Through DV2650, training can be tailored for workplaces, sporting clubs, pubs and clubs, community groups, leadership teams and groups of mates. Sessions are designed to be practical, supportive and relevant to real-world situations, helping people understand the role they can play in preventing domestic and family violence.
Participants will learn how to:
recognise early signs of harmful, disrespectful or controlling behaviour
understand how everyday comments, jokes and actions can contribute to broader culture
build confidence to safely intervene as a bystander
respond under pressure without escalating the situation
This is practical training for real-world situations. Whether you are part of a sports club, business, pub, community group, workplace or group of mates, Bystander Training can help your people move from awareness into action.
